At Northern Lights Baptist Church (NLBC), we are truly blessed to have a young and energetic pastor whose vision has made a mark on Anchorage, Alaska: a mark of strong pastoral leadership, global missions outreach, zealous soul-winning, and continued growth from the inspired teachings of God’s word, the King James Bible.

Testimony

Pastor Clark was born and raised in North Pole, Alaska. He grew up in a middle-class home and went to church regularly. However, he never had a clear presentation of the gospel. As a result of his parents getting divorced, he and his father were driven to Bible Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska, under pastor Doug Duffett. It was there he heard a clear presentation of the gospel and accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour. A few months after he got saved, he felt God was calling him to be a preacher; so he surrendered to the full time ministry.

Education

Our pastor graduated from North Pole High School in 1992 and then attended Hyles-Anderson College in 1993. He graduated with a Bachelor in Science degree and Pastoral Theology in the year 2000.

Experience

Our pastor has over 12 years of active experience in the ministry. He served as a bus director for 2 years at Bible Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was also the assistant to the pastor there for 2 years, and taught Bible Study at a Christian School for one semester. Since May 2001 Pastor Gregg Clark has been the Pastor of Northern Lights Baptist Church, and is the best Pastor in the world!

Family

While Pastor grew up in North Pole, Alaska, Kristina grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska. Bro. Clark met Kristina while out on bus visits and she rode his bus to church. Soon she gave her life to God and became a dedicated Christian. They both attended Hyles-Anderson College and were married in November, 1999. Currently, they have four precious children: Joseph, Caleb, and Melody, and new born Jacquelin Rose Clark!

A Testimony

I was checking out the church website and it says you are the "best Pastor in the world!", you need to get with Bro David and have that fixed because I think you are the best Pastor in the whole Universe !! Thanks for trusting me so much, I know ive made plenty of mistakes and still do today but thats one reason I love NLBC and the people there, and I love a church where "I can get my face ripped off" and people still love me for who I am. God brought me to NLBC for a reason and I love to give back any way I can, I have seen so many people grow and change in the short time i've been there already its amazing the only explanation is that God is doing great things for us and through us. I cant wait to see what God will do for us in the future. Thank you again, going to NLBC is the best thing that has ever happened to me and it continues to be a blessing in my life every time I walk in the door or hear a sermon or go kneel at the pulpit or greet someone at the door, and I have been blessed outside of church in so many ways and God has protected me time and time again when I would have failed in the past on my own, and I'm so glad we have a soul winning church if we didn't I would still be out there lost, probably in a bad spot. I have the opportunity to share what I've learned with others and give hope through Jesus Christ and nothing makes me happier than to see someone have a chance and have their lives changed or saved from Hell. And I have a family of wonderful people within the church, they continue to bring warmth to my heart through ther kindness. I wouldn't trade all of that for all the money in the world.
