Saturday at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Patch Club performs on
Sunday night of each month

Northern Lights Baptist Church

The Patch Club provides stories, games, Bible lessons, and prizes. They also
perform monthly with a song, verse, and play. The sailors work for a
Faithful Servant Award by completing all devotions and by their faithful
attendance in this nine month period. Super Sailor of the year awards are
chosen out of the faithful servants. The Super Sailor award is a medallion.

Each month the sailors are awarded a pin for devotions and attendance. If
faithful, the sailor should receive nine pins. In addition they will receive
the Faithful Servant Pin. The Faithful Servant Awards and the Super Sailor
Awards are converted prices.

Patch the Pirate Club is an exciting program focusing on music and bible
lessons for children. Each month we have a new character lesson that is
emphasized through daily devotions, songs, stories, bible lessons, memory
verses and a short skit. The club meets Saturdays  and is open for children
in age 3 - 12 years old. We welcome all new sailors to join our club!

The Patch Club curriculum is as follows:

*       Daily Devotions -- included in the Sailor's log for every day of the
week. This is a fun and easy way to integrate bible study time for our
children. It's so important to start this daily habit at a young age and
Patch Club makes it fun!
*       Godly Character Lesson -- emphasized throughout the month. This
includes a bible lesson from our club Captain each week and activity pages
in the Sailor's log. The story we read to the children also incorporates the
current topic.
*       Confidence Builder -- chance to perform in the monthly skit and
singing performance. Helps encourage our children to share publicly their
praise of the Lord!
*       Fun Time -- opportunity to excite the sailors for a complete
learning experience. We have sword drills, memory verse competitions and
other activities for everyone to enjoy.
*       Patch Club Awards -- included to motivate the sailors. They have the
chance to earn Attendance Certificates, Monthly Devotion pins, Faithful
Servant pins and the coveted Super Sailor of the Year medallion.

In addition to the elements above, Patch Club provides a great opportunity
for Christian fellowship with the young people of our church. It's a fun
atmosphere that promotes Christian beliefs and a Godly attitude. What a
great opportunity the Lord has given us to help meet the spiritual needs of
the children in our church !!

Club Verse -- Colossians 3:16 "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in
all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."

Sailor's Salute -- I pledge allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ, whose name
I love and whose praise I sing. As a faithful sailor in Patch the Pirate
Club, I will do my best to serve my Savior and obey His Word.
