Bus 103. Bro Brad Ostlund has been a bus captain for three years. He has eight workers, and an average of 40 riders each week.

Bus 110. Miss Gena is a good bus captain. She has seven workers, and an average of 50 riders each week.

Bus 120. Bro Melvin has been attending NLBC for over 5 years. He has four workers, and an average of 40 riders each week.

Bus 123. Bro Josh Coffman has been a bus captain for one and a half years. He has six workers, and an average of 30 riders each week.

Bus 41. Mrs. Bonnie Clum has been a bus captain for 23 years. She has eight workers, and an average of 20 riders each week.

Bus Ministry

The bus ministry extends from Northern Lights Baptist Church as a means to obey the principle found in Luke 14 that exhorts us to “compel them to come in”. There is no ministry in NLBC that has changed more lives than the bus ministry.

 

Every single week, scores of children ride the buses to Sunday School and Jr. Church. Truly, miracles take place every week on our bus routes, and we’ve watched as bus kids become teens, and as teens become loyal, faithful, hard-working, productive Christians. All of these lives have been reached through the bus ministry.

 

Currently we run 6 buses through all of Anchorage. If you are interested in riding the bus to church please do not hesitate to call the church offices and ask for a ride to church. If you know someone that may be interested, please let us know so that we can visit them.
